As a rider my own growth is dependent on my continuing education. Come join me in a proven and organized method of working through horsemanship including but not limited to the following study methods:
- Studying, mastering and showcasing CHA, Dressage, 4-H (and more!) levels of horsemanship.
- Watching, taking and breaking down video of ourselves, our peers and professionals to train our eye and learn and apply new skills.
- Studying texts to learn explore new (or old) ideas and apply them to our riding.
- Prepare oral reports and demonstrations showcasing information learned (no homework from parents expected!)
- Audit clinics with other professionals in the area to learn to disciplines or ideas.

Entry to Horsemanship is a once a month opportunity to get some horse time, riding experience and learn about horses with friends. This is a great intro to the Pathway program. Classes are running mostly full, so reach out to get on the wait list today. Jan/Feb are weather pending, so get on the list now. I may offer this twice monthly in the warmer months.

Pathway to Horsemanship Level One is accepting students now with limited spots available. Students ride one day per week then return for a second day of learning to care for horses, studying their horsemanship with ground classes, bathing horses, cleaning tack and more!
This is a year round program, with a three month commitment asked for when you sign up. Snag your spot today. This class is almost full.

The Pathway to Horsemanship is a fantastic fit for students who are hoping to one day own a horse or enjoy the benefits of horse ownership at a portion of the cost. Level One must be completed before joining Level Two. You can test into this program if you have your own horse.

Lone Larch Ranch Additional Growth and Community Goals
All the horsemanship in the world is a waste if the way we treat two-legged and four-legged folks isn’t interwoven with kindness and empathy.
Here at Lone Larch the program goals outside the arena are as follows:
- Confidence paired with humility
- Helping others along the journey
- Showing and accepting responsibility
- Work-ethic, showing pride in a job well done
- A sense of community/teamwork
- Experiencing the joys and pains of ranch life
- Giving back or paying it ahead

Lesson horses only available through Pathway program at this time. Private lessons on your horse $60. I’m currently accepting a limited number of outside students at my facility (or the indoor I teach out of in the winter) only.
