As a rider my own growth is dependent on my continuing education. Come join me in a proven and organized method of working through horsemanship including but not limited to the following study methods:

  • Studying, mastering and showcasing CHA, Dressage, 4-H (and more!) levels of horsemanship.
  • Watching, taking and breaking down video of ourselves, our peers and professionals to train our eye and learn and apply new skills.
  • Studying texts to learn explore new (or old) ideas and apply them to our riding.
  • Prepare oral reports and demonstrations showcasing information learned (no homework from parents expected!)
  • Audit clinics with other professionals in the area to learn to disciplines or ideas.

All the horsemanship in the world is a waste if the way we treat two-legged and four-legged folks isn’t interwoven with kindness and empathy.

Here at Lone Larch the program goals outside the arena are as follows:

  • Showing and accepting responsibility
  • Work-ethic, showing pride in a job well done
  • A sense of community/teamwork
  • Experiencing the joys and pains of ranch life
  • Giving back or paying it ahead
